Important: Prodigy does not currently offer new septic system installation. What we do provide today is septic inspection, septic repair, leach-field testing, line hydro jetting, and grinder-pump service. For a new install, we can point you to a licensed installer.

How It Works — Our Process

Here is how we support septic owners today, short of new installation:

  1. We Inspect Existing Systems

    We inspect existing systems to TDEC standards and file the records

  2. We Repair Failed Components

    baffles, distribution boxes, lines, and leach-field issues

  3. We Test Leach Fields

    We test leach fields and hydro jet septic lines where indicated

  4. We Service Grinder

    We service grinder and ejector pumps on properties below sewer grade

  5. We Refer You

    We refer you to a licensed installer when a new system is needed

When You Need It

If you are building on an unsewered lot or replacing a failed system, you will need a licensed installer and a TDEC permit. Prodigy can inspect, test, and repair existing systems and can refer you for the new installation itself. Does Prodigy install new septic systems?

Not currently. We offer septic inspection, repair, leach-field testing, line hydro jetting, and grinder-pump service. For a new installation we can point you to a licensed installer.

Do I need a TDEC permit for a new septic system?

Yes. New septic installation in Tennessee requires a TDEC permit and a soil evaluation. A licensed installer manages that process; we can help with inspection and repair afterward.

Can you repair my existing septic system instead?

Yes. Septic repair is a core service: we fix baffles, distribution boxes, lines, and leach-field problems, and service grinder pumps.

Can you inspect a system before I buy a rural property?
